Astro’s Playroom All Collectible Locations Artefacts & Puzzle Pieces

In the game, the player teams up with Captain Astro and goes on a quest to rescue his lost crew scattered across different worlds. The closest parallel to Astro’s Playroom that I can think of is Wii Sports. Both are games that were explicitly designed to showcase a new controller. But both also transcend that goal, shifting from tech demo to straight-up fun game. It takes only a few moments for Astro’s Playroom to show why you’ll want to play with a DualSense, and over the course of its run time it keeps giving you new reasons. In ASTRO’S PLAYROOM, players guide Astro through a series of lands, all of which tout the selling points of the PlayStation 5, including its SSD hard drive and new processor.

To collect all the collectibles, you will also need to walk around the main location – the CPU Plaza. PlayStation Labo lets you complete the collection by drawing prizes in a Gatcha-style game. Every level has tons of retro tech to collect and store in the PlayStation Labo.

What You’ll Love About Astro’s Playroom

Head back to the teeter-totter and Beam Glide on the left side of it to raise it up to the right. đăng nhập gg88 onto the platform with the Coin, then jump up to the Wires and tug them to reveal yet more platforms. Other players view this game as a culmination of the PlayStation legacy after Astro’s Playroom featured almost every console generation, accessories, characters, and iconic locations. There are environmental puzzles that must be solved by pulling certain wires to open new platforms to jump on to make the ascent much more convenient. The main boss for this level is the Demo 1 Dinosaur, more commonly known as the Demo 1 T. This fellow was in the Dinosaur Tech demo to show the power of the PlayStation at rendering a single character.

This references the Castlevania series, specifically 1997’s Symphony of the Night on PS1, by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo. At the start of GPU Jungle, check along the left-hand side between two trees for a lower section with four Bots with various weapons on their backs huddled around a campfire. This is a reference to 2002’s Monster Hunter on PS2, developed by Capcom.

Having the rewards be items that we grew up with tugs nostalgic heartstrings — and each model is rendered perfectly. The PSP reward is so detailed that it feels like Team Asobi could have placed your old childhood PSP into the game. You can explore all these items in the PlayStation Lago, a hub area of everything you collect. It’s a lot of fun to scale up these objects, and each one has a cool animation. Granted, it’s only a startup noise or something getting popped open. You can tell how much love Team Asobi put into this celebration of PlayStation.

Even though Astro’s Playroom is relatively simple, it kept me entertained for about five hours with its array of challenges and entertaining Easter eggs. During Astro’s jaunt through the guts of the PS5, you run across all sorts of PlayStation references and memorabilia. From seeing bot versions of iconic characters (like Kratos and Solid Snake) to gathering old peripherals and consoles, the journey is full of “I recognize that! ” flashes that punctuate the lighthearted and approachable gameplay.

The last official servers, for Final Fantasy XI, were shut down on March 31st 2016. The PS One LCD monitor was an attachment that allowed the console to be played without using a full-sized television. It plugged into the back of the unit and used the RGB video signal, providing a much clearer picture than the Composite and S-Video signals most players used. It also featured a headphone jack, and a Multi Out port that meant the system could still be connected to a TV as normal. The original PlayStation, also known as the PlayStation 1, released in 1994 in Japan and 1995 for the rest of the world.

Instead it’s used to connect to a PlayStation 5 and play compatible games via Remote Play (a feature that dates back to the PlayStation Vita playing PS3 games). It retains the signature haptic feedback and adaptive trigger motors of the DualSense controller. The PS5’s Pulse headset is a headset designed to use 3D audio with PS4 and PS5 games that support it, allowing for sounds to be heard as if all around the player, similar to a surround sound system. It also features two microphones that can cancel out background noises, and still has a 3.5mm jack to use as a standard headset. The PlayStation Vita was the successor to the PSP, featuring an OLED touch screen, two analog sticks, both a front and rear-facing camera, and a touch pad on the back.

After going through a small round room with Shock Orbs in it, you’ll go up a tall shaft with fans trying to push you into Shock Walls. When you get to the very top, look in the background to spot two bots playing “Bot Fighter”. This is a reference to Street Fighter, Capcom’s famous fighting game franchise that debuted in 1987. While the original Street Fighter never came to PS1, Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter did.

If you want an idea of what each Gatcha ball gives, puzzle pieces are obvious, silver balls are the Gatcha Prizes, and the gold balls are the Artifacts. If you need more coins you can go replay levels you’ve already completed, grabbing the Puzzle Pieces and Artifacts again because those give a large number of coins when you obtained them again. The real gimmick of Astro’s Playroom is the utilization of the DualSense controller.

Puzzle Piece 3/4 – After another couple of checkpoints, you’ll reach a series of second colored rooms. In the red room with the spinning mines, you can find this puzzle piece rotating along between two of them. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – On the main path just after the checkpoint there will be an explosive enemy standing in the middle of the area.

Each of them can be completed in around a minute or less and there’s a leaderboard to see how you stack up. This next area features a series of platforms rotating in rectangles. Head right and jump onto the first set, but instead of jumping left, ride the platform right. Artifact 1/2 “PS One LCD Monitor” – Continue along that path to the end where the group of bots are and pull the wires on the ground to reveal this artifact.
